Premium Lists - http://caper-dogs.com/SCANatlPrem12.pdf
Included in this premium will be the information and entry forms for the SCA Agility Trial, the Colonial Schipperke Club Regional Specialty and SCA National Specialty, which are all part of the week-long events May 14-19 in at Lancaster Host Resort & Conference Center, Lancaster, PA.

The online premium list features fill-in entry forms, which means you can fill out your entries right on your computer!  Entering your dog's information on one entry form will automatically fill in all of the entry forms in the premium, so you save lots of time over re-writing the same things by hand.  Use the tab key to move from one field to the next easily.  If you have another dog to enter, you can click on the Clear Dog Info button, and all the dog demographic and entry fields will clear, but your owner information will stay.  Click Clear All to get back to a blank form.

Only those SCA members who do not have an email address listed on the roster will be mailed a premium list unless you specifically request a mailed copy. Non-members can sign up using Premium Mailing List Sign-Up. The premium list is available on the Caper website, by clicking on the link above, and on the main page of the SCA website.

Room Sharing Coordinator
If you are planning to come to the show and would like to have someone share room expenses with you please email our Share A Room chairperson Gay Keuhnel-Hisatake. Please indicate whether you are a male or female and how many dogs you will have in your room. Gay will try and match you up with someone compatible.

Futurity
The purposes of the Futurity are to encourage the breeding of the best possible Schipperkes and to reward the breeders for their efforts. For these reasons, the Futurity Stake prizes are divided between the breeder and the owner, with recognition also given to the contribution of the sire. Download the Litter Nomination Form and follow the directions to enter.

Maturity Challenge Class
The addition of the Maturity Challenge as a regular event at our National was unanimously approved by the SCA Board of Directors at the 2010 National in Colorado Springs and was introduced at the 2011 National Specialty Show.

The Maturity is designed to be educational and a complement to the Futurity. By bringing back the previous Futurity nominees and showcasing them as adults, breeders will have the opportunity to see not only how individual dogs have developed, but also how particular bloodlines grow and mature. The ages of the dogs will range from two years up to eight years of age. Maturity Dogs need not be entered in the regular classes. In addition, to fully evaluate bloodlines, we will also accept spayed and neutered dogs.

The Maturity Procedures and Guidelines can be viewed here.

Agility
Agility trial for Schipperkes will be held Sunday 5/13/2012.

TOP 20 COMPETITION HAS BEEN SUSPENDED FOR 2012 BUT WILL
BE BACK IN 2013.

Skip-A-Thon – This event is designed to bring together and unite all who adore our wonderful breed. All Schipperkes are created equal, and all who love them can enter their favorite little Black Devil Dog in the Skip-A-Thon. Whether your Schipperke is your devoted house pet, a worthy little Rescue alumnus, a Champion or a great Wanna-Be in Obedience, Rally, or Conformation … the Skip-A-Thon is the place to be on Thursday afternoon to show off the wonderful relationship between you and your Best Friend. Schips and their humans can enter any of three different destined-for-forever-fame classes (Great Costumes, Unbelievable Talent, or Old Timerz Doing What Only Seniors Do) to compete for a Grand Prize that is as fabulous as the Skip-A-Thon! The Skip-A-Thon offers some of the best prizes you will ever see at the SCA National! For more information about entering the Skip-A-Thon, contact Fran Keyes.
